Terms of Service

LegacyChannels is operated by LEGACYCHANNELS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17423421, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of LegacyChannels, including browsing listings, placing orders, and completing a channel transfer. By using the marketplace or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We list aged YouTube channels for sale together with their registration date, analytics, and history. Every listing reflects the channel's real state at the time of import. Statistics such as subscribers and views are provided by the platform and may change between listing and transfer.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to buy through LegacyChannels. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

When you place an order, the channel is reserved for you for a limited hold window while payment is completed. Prices are shown in USD and converted to your display currency for convenience. An order is only confirmed once payment is received and verified. Unpaid orders are automatically cancelled after the hold window expires and the channel is released back to the catalog.

Aged channels are transferred through a Google Brand Account. After payment we grant you owner access, followed by Google's standard 7-day security period before primary ownership passes to you. During this period your access stays active and our team remains available to assist. The transfer is complete once you are the sole owner of the channel.

If we are unable to deliver owner access for a channel you paid for, you are entitled to a full refund or a replacement channel of equal value.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days. Because channel access is digital content delivered immediately after payment, at checkout you will be asked to expressly consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that, once delivery begins, you lose your statutory right to cancel. We begin the transfer only after you give this consent.

Because a completed transfer cannot be reversed, refunds are not available once owner access has been granted to you, except where we failed to deliver what was described in the listing or where a refund is otherwise required by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Selected listings can be reserved by paying a deposit of 20% of the listing price. A reservation holds the channel exclusively for you for 7 calendar days. The remaining balance must be paid within this period; once the balance is received, the order proceeds as a normal purchase and the transfer begins.

If the balance is not paid within the reservation window, the reservation expires, the channel is released back to the catalog, and the deposit is forfeited as a reservation fee, except where a refund is required by law. Before the reservation expires you may contact support to request one extension, which we may grant at our discretion. If we withdraw the channel from sale or cannot deliver it during your reservation window, your deposit is refunded in full or applied to another channel of your choice.

If you open a chargeback or payment dispute after owner access has been granted to you, we may suspend your account and any pending orders while the dispute is investigated. We will provide our payment partners with order records, delivery logs and transfer confirmations as evidence. If a dispute is resolved in our favor, you are responsible for any fees we reasonably incurred. If you believe something went wrong with your order, please contact support first — genuine issues are resolved faster this way, usually within a few days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, including attempting fraud, abusing the reservation system, initiating unfounded payment disputes, or using the marketplace for unlawful activity. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to respond before termination. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; closing your account does not affect orders already in progress.

You agree not to use purchased channels for illegal activity, fraud, spam, impersonation, or any behavior that violates applicable law. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with YouTube's and Google's terms and policies that apply to the channel after transfer. LegacyChannels is not responsible for how a channel is used after ownership has transferred to you.

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, LegacyChannels is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from platform policy changes, suspensions, or actions taken by Google or YouTube after transfer.

LegacyChannels is an independent marketplace. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Google LLC or YouTube. "YouTube", "Google" and related marks and logos are trademarks of Google LLC and are used on this site only to identify the platform on which the listed channels exist.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer residing in another country, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the marketplace. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages of third-party platforms, acts of government, or force majeure events.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
